This year, Microtech Group are spending the month of December raising as much funds for various charities as possible.
Having worked closely with third sector organisations for many years, we are aware of the struggles which face them. In a bid to relay some of these, we are taking part in various campaigns to promote the respective charities and offer some extra funding this Christmas.
Firstly, the team are taking part in Christmas Jumper Day in association with ITV and Text Santa. This is a simple method of having a more fun and creative atmosphere one day on the run up Christmas.
With the team doing they’re bit for the Christmas knit we are hoping to raise approx. £100.00. This will be split between, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Macmillan Cancer Trust and Save the Children.
We are also taking part in the Decembeard campaign in aid of Beating Bowel Cancer.
The aim of this campaign is to grow your beard through the month of December without shaving. This helps to raise funds for the charity whilst boosting awareness also.
We are excited to share that on day 1 we have already raised 44% of our £250.00 target.
We wish our team every success in the campaign and look forward to finding out what we have raised for 4 amazing charities.
