Welcome to the world of Telehealth Solutions in the GP surgery. The SurgeryPod enables patients, either with or without clinical supervision, to perform tests that post directly and instantaneously into their patient record. Typically installed in GP waiting rooms, the touch-screen Pod allows patient assessment prior to consultation. The clinician can also send patients to the SurgeryPod to perform specific tests, or in the case of new patients, to carry out a New Patient Check. Furthermore, patients can be sent to perform tests prior to obtaining repeat prescriptions. Data can be collected without the need for a clinical appointment at the patient’s convenience and saves doctors time as the answers to standard questions are known before the patient enters the surgery.
